Bivens-Zelle vows exchanged in May ceremony

Kirsten Rae Bivens and Ryan Michael Zelle, both of McCausland, were united in marriage May 18, 2024, on the couple’s property in LeClaire. Pastor Steffan Nass officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Kendra McVey was matron of honor and Molly Smith was maid of honor. Flower girls were Elouise Zelle, Lilah McVey, Amelia Zelle, Eliza Zelle and Nora McVey.

Kyle Zelle served as best man. Groomsmen were Nate Miller and Tyler Schabillion. The ring bearers were Cohen McVey and Atticus Zelle.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rolling Meadows Event Center in Eldridge.

Kirsten is the daughter of Scott and Teresa Bivens of Long Grove and the granddaughter of Judy Bivens and Tom and Lynn Lewis. She is employed as a corporate accounts payable associate at Invio Automation in Eldridge.

Ryan is the son of Steve and Lisa Zelle of LeClaire. He is employed as a project manager/carpenter at Precision Builders in Pleasant Valley.

The couple will honeymoon in Italy this fall. They reside in McCausland.
